November 2026 Horoscope: Finish First, Then Start

November 2026: Mercury turns direct on the 13th, Venus on the 14th, New Moon on the 9th. What to finish and when to start, with a horoscope for all 12 signs.

November 2026 Horoscope: Finish First, Then Start

For the first half of November you are still finishing what got stuck in October. For the second half you start fresh, and in more than one area of life at once.

Here is what the first days of the month tend to look like. The contract that came back for revisions in October is sitting in your inbox again. The money conversation you started with your partner a week ago still hasn't reached an ending. You've already got your eye on a new course, a new flat or a new job, and something inside you keeps saying: not yet.

That voice is right. November closes two retrogrades back to back, Mercury's and Venus's, and then picks up speed into Sagittarius season. Below: what shifts in November 2026, when you'll feel it, a November 2026 horoscope for each of the twelve signs, and how to find this month in your own chart. If you want a reminder of how it all started, here is the October forecast.

What changes in November 2026

The short version: don't start anything truly new before the middle of the month. After November 14, you can, and you should.

Why the line falls exactly there. Since October, two planets have been moving backwards (retrograde means a planet looks, from Earth, as if it were reversing across the sky). Mercury rules words, paperwork and agreements; Venus rules relationships, money and what you find worth having. Mercury turns forward on November 13, Venus on the 14th. Until then, anything you launch can still bounce back for another round of revisions. After that, the road is open.

This is what it looks like in real life. You'll probably recognise two or three of these, not all of them.

October's loose ends want closing

The email you never answered. The renovation that stalled halfway. The conversation that got pushed to "let's talk later". In the first two weeks of November these things come back on their own, and they are easier to close now than a month from now, while everyone still remembers what was said.

You want to start, but something holds you back

A new project, a new subscription, a new person. The urge is there, the certainty isn't, and that's fine. Decisions made before November 13–14 often need redoing, because one detail you didn't have yet turns up later.

After the 14th, you can breathe again

Love and money get the green light. The talk about the future, the big purchase, the new salary agreement — whatever has been hanging in the air for a month can finally be taken all the way to a decision.

Mid-month, you want everything at once

On November 16 Mars meets Jupiter in Leo. Expect a surge of courage and the urge to do something big and visible. But on November 18–19 the Sun squares them both, and it gets very easy to promise more than you can deliver. Start things, yes. Take on three times your usual load, no.

Late in the month, the horizon widens

On November 22 the Sun moves into Sagittarius, and it gets easier to think long-range: travel, study, plans for next year. Then on the 26th Mars moves into Virgo, and the energy shifts from grand gestures to hands-on work: lists, details, putting things in order.

November week by week: when you'll feel what

The dates in brief. The detail is in the section for your sign.

November 1–8: finish, don't start. Mercury and Venus are both still retrograde. On the 4th the Sun meets retrograde Mercury, the midpoint of its backward run, when it is easiest to see what went wrong in October's agreements. A good time to rewrite, double-check and close.

November 9–13: quietly name what you want. The New Moon on the 9th falls at 16°54′ Scorpio. It's not a day for a big launch; it's a day to write down, honestly, what you want. On the 13th Mercury turns direct at 5°02′ Scorpio, and paperwork and negotiations slowly start to move.

November 14–21: green light. On the 14th Venus turns direct at 22°52′ Libra, and relationships and money get the green light for something new. On the 16th Mars and Jupiter meet at 25°53′ Leo, the boldest moment of the month. On the 18th–19th the Sun squares them: check you're not promising too much.

November 22–30: a new rhythm. On the 22nd the Sun enters Sagittarius. On the 24th the Full Moon at 2°21′ Gemini brings a conversation that began in October to its conclusion; it sits close to Uranus, so that conclusion may arrive out of the blue. On the 26th Mars enters Virgo and the energy goes into details. By the 30th Mercury is back at the point where it started reversing in October, and October's mix-ups with words are fully behind you.

November 2026 horoscope by sign

The month's focus is Scorpio, then Sagittarius. A sign horoscope is a Sun-sign horoscope, so the houses below are counted from your sign. If you know your rising sign, read that section too; it's often the more accurate one.

Aries: money and trust, then a wider view

For the first three weeks the Sun moves through your eighth house: shared money, debts, loans, and the question of who you really trust. Money and trust get clearer, especially after the 13th, when Mercury stops scrambling the numbers. On the 14th Venus turns direct in your seventh house, and a partner who has been hard to read since early October finally speaks plainly. From the 22nd the Sun is in your ninth house and your view widens: you want to learn, travel, argue about what matters. Saturn keeps backing through your sign until December 11, so if you were born around March 25–31, finish the old task before taking on a new one.

Taurus: the partnership comes out of pause

The New Moon on the 9th and Mercury's turn on the 13th both land in your seventh house, the house of relationships and contracts. The partnership comes out of pause: the conversation you've been postponing since October finally becomes possible. Venus, your ruler, turns direct on the 14th in your sixth house of work, routine and health, so whatever has been stuck at work starts moving. From the 22nd the Sun is in your eighth house, and the Full Moon on the 24th falls in your second: time to count what you put into the shared pot and what you get back.

Gemini: order at work and a Full Moon in your sign

The New Moon and the direct turn of Mercury, your ruler, are in your sixth house. Work needs order, not new ideas: finish what you started, clear the inbox, close old tasks. After the 13th, work emails stop going missing. Your main event of the month is the Full Moon on November 24 at 2°21′ Gemini, in your own sign and close to Uranus. If you were born around May 20–26, you'll feel it most: six months of effort come to a head quickly, and maybe not the way you planned. From the 22nd the Sun is in your seventh house, and your partner takes centre stage.

Cancer: romance and creativity, a fresh start after the 14th

The New Moon on the 9th lands in your fifth house: love, creativity, children, everything you do for the joy of it. Quietly decide what you want, and start after the 14th, when Venus turns direct in your fourth house and the home or family question that's been hanging since October lets go. Mars and Jupiter meet on the 16th in your second house: money, and how highly you rate yourself. A good moment to ask for more, if you have something to back it up. From the 22nd the Sun is in your sixth house: routine and work.

Leo: a family matter closes, then money

For the first three weeks the Sun moves through your fourth house, and a family matter closes: with your parents, your home, or who is responsible for what under your roof. Your big date is November 16, when Mars meets Jupiter right in your sign, at 25°53′ Leo. If you were born around August 15–21, you'll feel it most: plenty of energy, nerve and appetite to make yourself known. Mars stays in your sign until the 26th, then moves into your second house, and money takes the spotlight: time to earn what you promised yourself mid-month. Virgo: words carry more weight, then Mars in your sign

The New Moon and the direct turn of your ruler, Mercury, are in your third house. Conversations carry more weight than usual: one thing said face to face counts for more than ten message threads. After the 13th, go back to whatever was left unsaid in October. On the 14th Venus turns direct in your second house, and money starts arriving on schedule. From November 26 Mars is in your sign: you get drive, resolve, and less patience with other people's slowness. Point it at one project, not ten.

Libra: a personal reset on the 14th

On November 14 your ruler Venus turns direct at 22°52′ Libra, in your own sign. It's a personal reset: since early October you've been reviewing what in your life is truly yours, and now you can act on it. If you were born around October 13–19, you'll feel it most. The New Moon and Mercury's turn are in your second house: money, what your work is worth, spending. From the 26th Mars is in your twelfth house and your energy turns inward, so keep the end of the month for rest. More on Venus in your sign in Venus retrograde back in Libra.

Scorpio: a month about you, then about your footing

The New Moon on the 9th at 16°54′ Scorpio and Mercury's turn on the 13th at 5°02′ are both in your sign. This month is about you: what you want, how you speak, how you're heard. The New Moon hits hardest if you were born around November 6–12; Mercury's turn, if you were born October 25–31. Mars and Jupiter meet on the 16th in your tenth house: people see you at work, and you can aim higher. From the 22nd the Sun moves into your second house, and after a bright mid-month comes quiet preparation: money, resources, whatever you stand on. More on your season in Scorpio season 2026.

Sagittarius: your season starts on the 22nd

Until the 22nd the Sun is in your twelfth house: time to rest, catch up on sleep and wrap up the jobs no one sees. Your season begins on November 22. Two days later, on the 24th, the Full Moon falls opposite your sign, in your seventh house: a partner, client or someone close shows you something about yourself you hadn't noticed. If you were born around November 21–27, you'll feel it most. Your ruler Jupiter meets Mars on the 16th in your ninth house: study, travel, other countries — this is where you can be bold. From the 26th Mars is in your tenth house, and work asks for action.

Capricorn: your circle of friends refreshes

The New Moon and Mercury's turn fall in your eleventh house. Your circle refreshes: someone drifts away without a fight, someone new arrives through a shared project or community. On the 14th Venus turns direct in your tenth house of career, and the question about a role or salary that froze in October starts to move. From the 22nd the Sun is in your twelfth house, so leave the end of the month for recovery. Saturn, your ruler, keeps backing through your fourth house until December 11: home and family want your attention.

Aquarius: career gets clearer after the 13th

The New Moon and Mercury's turn run through your tenth house. Your career gets clearer after the 13th: you can see where to go and what to tell your boss. On the 16th Mars meets Jupiter in your seventh house: partners talk loudly and offer a lot, but on the 18th–19th don't agree to everything at once. The Full Moon on the 24th is in your fifth house: love and creativity. In the background, on November 29, Uranus in Gemini forms an exact trine to Pluto in your sign, so changes that have been under way for a long time get support.

Pisces: long-range plans move from the 14th

The New Moon and Mercury's turn are in your ninth house: study, moving abroad, other countries, your own beliefs. Long-range plans start moving from the 14th: visas, courses and moving conversations that stalled in October get going again. Venus turns direct in your eighth house, so shared money and commitments become clearer. From the 22nd the Sun is in your tenth house and your work is on show. From the 26th Mars is in your seventh house: your partner gets more active, and sharper. The Full Moon on the 24th falls in your fourth house: home and family.

How to find November in your own chart

A sign horoscope describes one point, the Sun. Your birth chart shows more, and there are three things you can check yourself.

  1. A planet at 5°–17° Scorpio. Both the New Moon and Mercury's direct station touch it: Mercury crosses this stretch three times between early October and late November. If your Sun, Moon, Venus or Ascendant is there, November's story is yours, whatever your sign.
  2. A planet at 22°–23° Libra. That's where Venus stops and turns forward. If you have a planet here, the turn on November 14 feels personal: something that wouldn't resolve for a long time finally does.
  3. Natal Mercury or Venus in Scorpio. Then the month is especially about you: communication or relationships go full circle, from October's review to November's fresh start.

How to find degrees and houses in your chart is covered in how to read your birth chart. Without a birth time, houses can't be calculated, and half of any forecast is about houses (why birth time matters). If you have several transits going on and can't tell which matters most, see which transit matters most for you.

What to do in November, and what to avoid

⚖️ Do

  • Collect decisions for the first two weeks: write down what you want to change, but don't launch it yet.
  • Finish October's business: answer the emails, settle the agreements, pay back what you owe.
  • On November 9, write down what you want for the next six months, quietly, without announcing it.
  • Make your decisions after the 14th.
  • At the end of the month, once Mars is in Virgo, break your tasks into steps and sort out the details.

⛔ Avoid

  • Rushing negotiations and purchases early in the month.
  • Starting November's business ahead of time; finish October's first.
  • Overpromising on November 16–19, when your courage runs ahead of your resources.
  • Treating the Full Moon on the 24th as a final verdict. It closes one conversation, not the whole story.

If a pause in your life looks set to last past mid-November, read when your chart says wait: it explains how to tell a pause from a dead end.

Frequently asked questions

When do Mercury and Venus retrograde end in 2026?

Mercury turns direct on November 13 at 5°02′ Scorpio, and Venus on November 14 at 22°52′ Libra. After that, both planets spend a while re-covering ground they've already crossed: Mercury until November 30, Venus until mid-December. So take your first steps after the turn calmly, without a sprint.

When are the New Moon and Full Moon in November 2026?

The New Moon is on November 9 at 16°54′ Scorpio, and the Full Moon on November 24 at 2°21′ Gemini (Kyiv time). The New Moon is good for naming what you want; the Full Moon, for wrapping up whatever has dragged on since October.

Can I start something new in early November?

You can prepare: gather information, compare options, write ideas down. Launching is better left until after November 14, when both retrograde planets are moving forward again. Things started earlier are more likely to come back for rework.

Which zodiac sign does November 2026 favour most?

Scorpio gets the New Moon and Mercury's turn in its sign. Libra gets Venus turning direct in its sign. Leo gets the Mars–Jupiter conjunction on November 16. Sagittarius gets the start of its own season on the 22nd. But what really makes the month yours isn't the sign, it's the degrees: if you have a planet at 5°–17° Scorpio or 22°–23° Libra, November is about you, whatever your Sun sign.

What does Mars in Virgo from November 26 mean?

Energy moves from big gestures into details: you want to tidy up, finish, double-check. It's a good time for work that needs precision, and a poor one for arguing about small things with the people you live with: irritation over trifles turns into a row very easily in these weeks.
